Amazon drops 7-inch Kindle Fire HD's price to $179 for Mother's Day
Two can play the discounted-tablet-for-Mother's-Day game. Just a day after Barnes & Noble slashed Nook tablet prices across the board, Amazon has cut the prices of the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD to $179 (16GB) and $209 (32GB) for the occasion. Use the FIRE4MOM code at checkout until May 12th and you'll pocket $20 that could be better spent on flowers... or apps, for that matter.
